一.Can,could和may的用法

1.Can和could表示能力:

“can”表示现在的能力,could表示过去的能力

(2)can表示能力时,与beableto的意思相同,但can只有现在时和过去时两种时态,而beableto可以用于各种时态。can+V(=beableto+V)

2.Can,could和may表示可能性

(1)①can表示推测“可能性”时,往往用于否定句或疑问句。Can’t意为“一定不”,语气很肯定。Can在疑问句中意为“会,可能”

(2)could可用于表示某事有可能发生或可能是事实。

(3)May的用法

①may表达推测时,意为“可能,也许”,语气没有must肯定。
