Teaching aims:

To write the sentences: Are they potatoes? Yes, they are.

Key points:master the sentences ( Are they potatoes? Yes, they are. No ,they aren’t.).

Difficult points:To use the new words and sentences make simple dialogues.

Teaching steps:

Step1: Warm-up

Greetings .

Say a song together.(Old McDonald Had a Farm)

Step2:Revision

Fruit words(guessing game) Step3:Presentation 1.This is a tree. Guess, what’s on the tree? Using Are they...? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. Show the pictures of the vegetables and let the students guess.

2.Look at the picture, listen to the tape and answer the questions.

Step4: Drills.

Chant
