向别人问路时,还可以用下列句子:

Where’s City Cinema?

Can you tell me the way to City Cinema?

②next to 是“紧靠”、“在……旁边”的意思。如:

The dining room is next to the kitchen.餐厅就在厨房旁边。

beside和next to的区别:

beside表示“在……旁边”的意思时,其用法与next to差不多。如:

There is a chair next to/beside the desk.有一把椅子在桌子旁边。

beside还有“在……附近”的意思,而next to 则没有。如:

There are many birds beside the river.有许多鸟在河边。
